New section of the Pordenone bypass opened
On 29 June an important milestone was reached with the opening of a new section of the Pordenone bypass. Presiding over this important occasion was the President of the Friuli-Venezia Giulia Region, Massimiliano Fedriga.
This remarkable project was made possible thanks to the efforts of F&M Ingegneria SpA, which showcased its expertise in the field of engineering. F&M Ingegneria SpA’s final project is noteworthy and demonstrates its commitment to improving road infrastructure.
The new link road stretches an impressive 2.3 kilometres and includes a strategically designed slip road. This addition will significantly improve the overall connectivity of the road network, particularly with the A28 ‘Interporto di Pordenone’ motorway exit. In addition, the project also incorporates an artificial tunnel, boasting a push-pull monolith, located under the Mestre-Udine railway line.
The opening of this section of the Pordenone bypass represents a significant step forward in improving the region’s transport efficiency and connectivity. It will undoubtedly ease traffic congestion, improve travel times and increase safety and overall convenience for commuters and businesses.
