Lignano Sea Terrace, works started
The work on the new Terrazza a mare in Lignano, a symbol of the seaside resort, has officially begun and will be completed by summer 2026.
The project, commissioned by the Region for 14 million euros, includes the seismic, energy, and functional upgrading of the 1972 structure, featuring a new swimming pool and an expanded walkable area.
The work will start with the area in front of the entrance tunnel and the interiors, then extend to the beach and the sea after the bathing season, with completion scheduled for June 2025, minimizing disturbances to tourists.
