Great news for the port of Genoa
Great news for the port of Genoa! With the completion of the Superba road and the new Ponte del Papa (Pope’s Bridge), freight traffic will become faster and more efficient, without interfering with the city’s road system.
Six major infrastructure works along the entire Sampierdarena basin will connect the port terminals directly to the motorway axes of the Genoa node.
F&M Ingegneria supervised the detailed and final design of the extension of the port elevated causeway and the construction of the new Ponente gate, the Ponente car park, the ‘La Superba’ road and the new Pope bridge, winner of the OICE 2023 award in the ‘Road and motorway infrastructure’ category
