Thursday 28^th November the press conference for the new “Darsena Europa” in the Porto of Livorno was held at the ancient “Fortezza Vecchia” in Livorno. The project was illustrated by the President of the Port Authority, Stefano Corsini, featuring the Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, Paola De Micheli. The project comprises the dredging and the new works for the protection of the new entrance to the port and the new basin of the “Darsena Europa” along with the access channel. The construction is scheduled to finish within 2024. The preliminary design was carried out by the team composed of F&M Ingegneria, Haskoning-Dhv Nederland, Hs Marine and G&T. Click here for more.
