F&M Middle East is proud to have been commissioned by the <\/em>Ministry of Housing & Urban Planning<\/em><\/strong><\/a> as the Lead Consultancy and Project Management services to deliver the Greater #Muscat<\/strong> Structure Plan project (GMSP). The #GMSP<\/strong> aims to develop a new Vision and Spatial Strategy for the growth of Greater Muscat, an area that spans from Yiti to Barka. This strategy will focus on delivering sustainable and resilient urban development that balances growth with securing prosperity, strengthening urban identity, and protecting Muscat\u2019s unique natural beauty.<\/em><\/p>\n

F&M Middle East has partnered with a consortium of experts led by <\/em>Broadway Malyan<\/em><\/strong><\/a> as the Technical Lead. The consortium includes global consultants who specialize in #infrastructure<\/strong>, #smartcities<\/strong>, #sustainability<\/strong>, #smartmobility<\/strong>, #socioeconomicassessment<\/strong>, #investment<\/strong>, #governance<\/strong>, #costing<\/strong>, #tourismstrategy<\/strong>, #citybranding<\/strong>, #incountryvalue<\/strong>, #community<\/strong>, and #stakeholderengagement<\/strong>, the #environment<\/strong>, and the #legalframework<\/strong>. <\/em><\/p>\n

F&M Middle East, along with the technical team and stakeholders, participated in the workshop held on September 1, 2022, to present the key findings of the data collection stage. The workshop concluded with a session designed to identify the challenges of development and planning and how to overcome them while defining the opportunities that Greater Muscat has to offer. <\/em><\/p>\n
