The contract to develop the new connection between Mestre and Porto Marghera, Venice’s industrial area, was given to F&M Ingegneria in 2018. The remodeling of this intersection included coping with constrained spaces, tracks on both sides of Via Libert\u00e0, and\u2014most importantly\u2014the impossibility of obstructing the largely always-guaranteed two lanes in and two lanes out traffic between Mestre and Venice.<\/p>\n
Work began in November 2019, but was expected to take a long time because of these factors. Not to mention that in between were the Covid years that delayed and blocked every construction site.<\/p>\n
To have completed this work is a great satisfaction.<\/p>\n
It is an ambitious project that fits into a context of profound urban transformation with an important meaning for the city and all those who frequent the university, Forte Marghera and San Giuliano Park.<\/p>\n
