With a route length of 11.5 km, over 50% of which is underground, this new section will include five key stops: Gullotta, Belpasso, Valcorrente, Giaconia, and Patern\u00f2.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: var(--artdeco-reset-typography-font-weight-normal);\">Thanks to this project, the entire Catania Metro line will be completed, totaling 30 km and 27 stations, connecting the areas of Patern\u00f2, Belpasso, Misterbianco, and Catania to Fontanarossa Airport.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: var(--artdeco-reset-typography-font-weight-normal);\">The detailed design work was carried out by the temporary consortium of designers composed of Lombardi Ingegneria Italia, F&amp;M Ingegneria SpA, and SIPAL S.p.A.
