The park has been restored to its former glory, when the Este court was based in Rivalta. Twenty-six hectares of public green space, which form the heart of the Ducato Estense project, now have a new design that combines 18th-century and contemporary elements.<\/p>\n

Visitors can stroll along the park’s avenues and discover its many attractions, such as caves, ponds, a belvedere, an orchard, a dancing meadow and a roundabout flanked by elm trees. The redevelopment is part of a nationally significant plan funded by MIUR: a project to enhance the Este cultural heritage system.<\/p>\n
