F&M Middle East is proud to deliver Oman Pavilion at Expo Dubai 2020
Oman Pavilion, nestled in the mobility district, commenced its construction journey in October 2019. The Pavilion is titled ‘Generations of Opportunity’ and is based on the storytelling of Luban, Oman’s most prized possession, and its life cycle.
F&M Middle East was awarded as the Lead Design and Site Supervision Consultant and had executed the full Concept Architectural Design Review, Concept Engineering Design, Interior Design of all non-exhibition spaces, Structural Design, MEP Design, Infrastructure and Civil Works Design, and Site Supervision. It is worth mentioning that the pre-conceptual design of the Luban Tree was based on the winning idea that was brought to life by two ambitious female Omani architects.
The entire project was spearheaded by the award-winning SME, Innovation Factory for Scientific Research & Development Company (IF) along with the distinctive Omani Project Management Company MEEZAH. The Pavilion since its inception is a product of the successful merging of global as well Omani passion, creativity, and ambition to deliver a landmark representation of Oman to the world.
Oman’s Pavilion has been built according to the plans drawn up in coordination with the organising committee and relevant contracting companies. Although the mega event was rescheduled for October 2021, work continued with extra precautions to ensure the safety of workers, management staff, and visitors to the EXPO.
Oman Pavilion will be ready to welcome visitors at Dubai Expo 2021 in October 2021.
