F&M Ingegenria is looking for professionals to be employed as Thermotechnical Systems Designer (junior and senior), in the main office in Mirano (VE).
JUNIOR DESIGNER – Tasks and requirements
Based on the indications received from the owner/head of commission, he/she independently carries out the thermotechnical design consisting of graphic drawings, calculations, metric calculations, technical reports on medium-sized buildings, interfacing if necessary with other external subjects who contribute to the design.
Main tasks:
- On medium-sized buildings (max 2000 – 3000 m2): graphic design of heating, air conditioning, water, drainage systems, heating and cooling systems, thermoregulation, fire-fighting water systems, hydrants;
- Execution of block diagrams, functional diagrams;
- Thermotechnical calculations according to national regulations;
- Basic knowledge of national certification protocols (Cened, Sacert, Casa Clima Agency, Itaca);
- Calculation of gas networks, fire prevention networks, drainage networks, aeraluic networks, of limited dimensions, etc;
- Drafting of technical reports, technical specifications;
- Execution of estimated metric calculations;
- Promptly informs the prime contractor of all critical issues that may emerge during the design phase.
The ideal candidate meets the following requirements:
- Technical diploma or degree in engineering (preferably thermotechnical/energy related);
- Basic knowledge of English (desirable requirement);
- Basic knowledge of UNI standards – National regulations – Fire prevention standards;
- Familiarity with the main IT tools (AutoCAD, BIM, Office) and with the softwares in use for thermotechnical design and fire prevention;
- Knowledge of the main suppliers of thermotechnical and fire prevention components and equipment;
- Ability to draw up a technical report, technical specifications, metric calculations, price analysis, with supervision of the coordinator.
- At least 2 years of experience as a designer;
- Ability to collaborate with both the design team and external clients.
SENIOR DESIGNER – Tasks and requirements
Based on the indications received from the sector technical manager, he/she is able to organize the work of the design pool entrusted to him, completing the order, and constantly interfacing with all the external parties involved in the project. If required, for the projects entrusted to him, he/she will perform the function of Construction Manager / Construction site assistance.
Main tasks:
- Analyze the order input data and define the list of documents to be produced, once the completeness and adequacy of the former has been ascertained;
- Organize the work of the design team, respecting the delivery time schedule of the work;
- Collaborate with the client and with the various external parties involved in drafting the project, in particular with regards to variations and modifications;
- Verify the completeness and adequacy of the documents before delivery to the customer;
- Participate operationally in planning, collaborating with the sector manager regarding the definition of tasks;
- Guarantee adequate presence on site for works management activities relating to the designed systems, consisting of checking the conformity of the works and compliance with the established execution times.
