Very proud to share success stories like this: Launch of the new “Pope’s Bridge” completed.
According to a note from Palazzo San Giorgio, it is the first bridge in Europe and one of the first six in the world in terms of technical characteristics and impressiveness.
The new Pope’s Bridge has a two-level arch structure, a single span of nearly 100 meters, weighs 2,000 tons, is 25 meters wide and 35 meters high. The double-level arch solution by F&M Ingegneria, Technital S.p.A. and Impresa Pizzarotti & C. S.p.A., guarantees first-rate architectural and landscape value.
A strategic work as well as a fundamental step for the viability of the city of Genoa.
