New Breakwater of the Port of Genoa

Genoa – The contract for the design and construction of the New Breakwater of the Port of Genoa commissioned by the Autorità di Sistema Portuale del Mar Ligure Occidentale has been awarded to the forming Consortium headed by Webuild, FINCOSIT, Fincantieri Infrastrutture Opere Marittime, and Sidra.

F&M Ingegneria SpA, together with Ramboll UK, will be responsible for the final and executive design.

A noteworthy project for Europe, it is part of the Extraordinary Program for the Recovery of the Port of Genoa. This is the largest renovation of the Ligurian port area in the last 25 years: a unique engineering work in the world.
