New sports hall approved in Corviale
Green light for the final project for the construction of the long-awaited PalaCorviale, a sports hall destined to become not only a centre for physical activity, but also a hub for the local community. With a budget of almost EUR 10 million from PNRR funds, this facility represents a significant investment in the future and well-being of residents.
The project, which will be developed on an area of 15,000 square metres, has been designed with both functionality and sustainability in mind. A substantial part of this area, amounting to 2,500 square metres, will be dedicated to an indoor facility capable of accommodating up to 700 spectators, thus offering an ideal venue for sports and cultural events involving the entire community.
But that’s not all: the facility will be equipped with the latest energy-saving solutions. With 3,400 square metres allocated to the regeneration and restoration of green areas, PalaCorviale will also become an oasis of tranquillity in the heart of the city. The remaining space will be used for parking and other public services, ensuring a complete experience for everyone who frequents the area.
