Opening cerimony of the new Petronas Research Center
The new Research and Technology Center of Petronas Lubrificants International, the Malaysian oil group, technical sponsor of Mercedes-AMG in Formula 1, was opened some day ago in Villastellone close to Turin.
F1 Mercedes-AMG team’s drivers Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas with team principal Toto Wolff and managing director Andy Cowell attended the ceremony.
The new Global Research and Technology Center is one of most advanced research center in the world for the development of the motor lubrication technology.
The total investment provided by Petronas for building the futuristic facility where more than 200 researchers from all over the world are going to work was 60 million €.
F&M was in charge for the structural and MEP design, as well as the site supervision and management of construction. Click here for more info.
