Coca-Cola Pavilion Expo Milano 2015
Coca-Cola has been selected by Expo, like an Official Soft Drink Partner, by virtue of its global commitment to innovation, that is understood as the engine of sustainable growth, capable of generating wealth for the community, at the same time respecting and protecting all resources used and encouraging consumer lifestyles that are fair and balanced. At Expo 2015 Coca-Cola will deliver a pavilion where its heritage, vision and innovation will be brought to life, in line with the theme of “Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life.” The Coca-Cola Milan Expo 2015 Pavilion building has been moved to a new location and is reborn and reused as a cover for a basketball court. The pavilion was designed from the outset to become, following its temporary use as an Expo pavilion, a covered space for sports and physical activities for the benefit of the local community. This is a great example of sustainable design with cyclic building use in different location as well as for different function.
