Extension of the current port road
The new layout is an extension of the current road for creating a connection between the ltwo banks of the river Polcevera where the new port gate will be built. The length of this work is about 1500 m. At the crossing of the river Polcevera a continuous steel girder bridge of variable height will be built, similar to the bridge of Strada Urbana di Scorrimento a Mare, with spans of 50+100+50m. The approach viaducts, with length about 1 km, will be realized with scaffoldings reinforced concrete beams (spans of about 32-34 m) in continuity with the structure of the existing elevated road. The central span is 48-50 m to overpass the tracks to access the industrial port.
