Generali Group Academy
The transformation and recovery of Palazzo Aedes (or Grattacielo Rosso) in Trieste is an extraordinary case of intervention of an iconic building of the city, properly protected by the Cultural Heritage Agency. The project involves the realization for the Generali Group of the “Generali Group Academy” a Training and Learning Center with international importance. The architectural design is by Mario Bellini Architect, architect and designer internationally renowned, awarded 8 times with the Golden Compass Award, 25 of his works are in the permanent design collection of the New York MoMA. The project consists in the conservative improvement of the existing building through a series of interventions, not bringing changes to the external facade to preserve the ‘character’ of this listed building.
