Germany Pavilion “Expo Milano 2015”
The German Pavilion at EXPO 2015 in Milan is designed by the German architectural consultancy Schmidhuber + Partner and was conceived as a fragment of landscape “cut” and “lying” on the ground. The pavilion will accommodate the largest artificial trees which will also make up the shell of the pavilion thus borrow from nature, its form and construction technique. The organic forms including the use of steel structures and membranes of extreme simplicity, emphasize the vision of “buildings for the future” concept in which the building is part of the nature.
