Quotidiano Immobiliare – New School Complex in Sassa, L’Aquila
Engineer David Zannoner, F&M Ingegneria, together with Architect Onorato di Manno, Set Architects, talk about the new school complex in Sassa, in an interview for Quotidiano Immobiliare.
The school complex, strategically positioned to be accessible from many of the neighbouring towns affected by the 2009 earthquake, is located in the village of Sassa, province of L’Aquila. The project contains a durable, adaptable and earthquake-resistant XLam wood panel structure, built with flexibility and adaptability in mind.
F&M took care of the engineering design, from the structures to the mechanical, electrical and sewage systems, safety coordination during the design phase.
