Railway connection to Venice Marco Polo Airport – The inauguration of the works
Today, we celebrate a significant chapter for our city!
With great pride, we announce the commencement of the railway connection project to Venice Marco Polo Airport.
The inauguration ceremony took place today at the construction site in Tessera, in the municipality of Venice, with the presence of the Vice President of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, the President of the Veneto Region, and the executives of the Italian State Railways Group.
The crucial tasks for this project have been entrusted to the exceptional team comprising Rizzani de Eccher (lead contractor), Manelli Impresa and Sacaim. The executive design is being overseen by Lombardi Ingegneria S.r.l. and F&M Ingegneria.
This railway connection is more than an infrastructure project; it is a promise of progress and connectivity.
The future of Italy is under construction, one track at a time.
