Sardine & Tuna Cannery Plant
F&M Middle East is undertaking the Lead Consultancy for the Design, Project Management, and Supervision Services of Sardine & Tuna Cannery Plant and Ancillary at Duqm, Oman.

The “Sardine & Tuna Cannery Plant” project aims to create a processing model able to collect fish from different areas of the country through both artisanal and professional fishing methods and process them into high-quality canned sardines, canned tuna, along with its by-products such as fish meal and fish oil for the domestic market and export.
The project will create investment opportunities to ensure the ready availability of fisheries products and the localization of the fish product value chain, contributing to the GDP.
The project currently under construction is located within the SEZAD Fisheries zone in Al Duqm, Al Wusta Governorate, Sultanate of Oman and is expected to start production by Q1 2024.
