The intervention relates to restoration and functional recovery of the buildings: “Silos di Levante”, “Casa del Capitano” and “Guardiania” of the complex thr former “Santa Marta” barracks, a disused military area located in the southern area of Veronetta district. The neighborhood is one of the oldest in Verona and is located in the area to the east near the historic center. Among the main objectives of the project there are on the one hand the recovery of the three artifacts, of high value both from the historical and architectural historical and architectural point of view, through their energy and structural efficiency, while on the other hand it intends to realize the idea of a new sustainable urban welfare, aimed at social inclusion, allocating the recovered buildings to useful functions of social life recovered to useful functions to the social life.
