The project is part of a large work to modernize the roads between Palermo and Agrigento, which is made up of SS 121 and part of the SS 189. The topics are: geometric-functional improvement of the road to enhance safety; modernization of road intersections; adaptation of the existing structures and construction of new viaducts.
