The project involves the conversion of the “Parallelepipedo” building located within the Cà Foscari University Faculty of Chemistry’s campus in Santa Marta in Venice. The proposals involve conversion from the current classroom and laboratories use to use as university residence. The program involves the construction of 136 accommodation places divided into mini apartments with one or two beds. In addition to the functions of accommodation the project provides for the common areas to facilitate the social integration of students, leisure and study, as well as areas for building management and maintenance.
