The Container Terminal at Zagreb Pier in Rijeka spreads over 22 acres and provides a new 680 m long quay. It is designed to accomodate docking of 5 and 6 generation ships and to increase the load capacity of the existing Bradjica Terminal. The new terminal structure is built using 20 m deep submersed prefabricated caissons which are floated into position and guided by the GPS.
