F&M Post #1 focuses on Cordusio 2, a historic building, the former Palazzo Sorgente, in the very heart of Milan. The project involves the recovery of the existing structure and the introduction of glazed elements: the repurposing of the building at via Cordusio 2 was designed to seek a balanced dialogue between Neo-Renaissance eclecticism and a renewed relationship with the contemporary. The restyling of the original building and the change of use, with shops on the ground floor and offices on the upper floors, give a new identity to the urban space.
